2. What Information We Collect
We keep this to a minimum — this website does not have a contact form, newsletter sign-up, online ordering, or user accounts. The information involved in an ordinary visit to this site is:
- Technical data collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider's servers may log standard technical information for every visit — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and time of visit — for security and basic operation of the site.
- Your language preference. If you use the language switcher, your chosen language is saved locally in your own browser (via
localStorage) so the site remembers it next time. This value stays on your device — it is not transmitted to us or stored on our servers. - Information you choose to share elsewhere. If you call us, message us, or interact with our Instagram or Facebook pages, that exchange is governed by the privacy practices of that channel (your phone provider, Meta/Instagram/Facebook) rather than by this website.
3. Cookies & Similar Technologies
For details on the cookies and local storage used on this site, please see our Cookie Policy.
4. Legal Basis For Processing
Where technical/server-log data is processed, our legal basis is legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and functioning correctly. Where local storage is used for the language preference, this is strictly necessary for that feature to work.
5. Third-Party Services Used On This Site
- Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which involves a request from your browser to Google (see Google's privacy policy).
- Google Maps — our "Visit Us" section embeds a Google Maps view of our location; Google may set its own cookies when you interact with the map.
- Instagram & Facebook (Meta) — buttons and links on this site take you to our profiles on these platforms; Meta's own privacy policy applies once you're there.
- GSAP animation library — loaded from the cdnjs (Cloudflare) content delivery network to power on-page animations; this involves a standard request to that CDN.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not currently run analytics or tracking tools such as Google Analytics on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
6. Data Retention
We do not maintain our own database of visitor personal data. Server/hosting logs (see Section 2) are retained only as long as our hosting provider's standard policy requires for security and operational purposes.
7. Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/RGPD), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability, to the extent we hold any. You can reach us using the contact details in Section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
8. Children's Privacy
This website is a general-audience business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website or applicable law. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent revision.
10. Contact Us
