1. What Are Cookies?

2. What We Use Directly
This site keeps things deliberately simple. The only storage we set ourselves is:
northcoast_lang(browser local storage, not a cookie) — remembers the language you picked with the header's language switcher (English, Español, Português, Français, or Deutsch), so it's already set the next time you visit. It's strictly necessary for that one feature, stays only on your device, is never sent to our servers, and has no fixed expiry — it lasts until you clear your browser's site data.
We do not use our own analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
3. Cookies Set By Embedded Third-Party Content
A few things on this page are loaded from other companies' servers, and those companies may set their own cookies according to their own policies — we don't control these directly:
- Google Maps — the map embedded in our "Visit Us" section can set Google cookies once you interact with it.
- Google Fonts — our page typefaces are served from Google's font infrastructure.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) — our page animation library (GSAP) is loaded from this content delivery network.
None of these are used by us for advertising or cross-site tracking.
4. Managing Cookies & Local Storage
You can allow, block, or delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser's settings — usually under "Privacy," "Site settings," or "Clear browsing data." Doing so will simply reset the language switcher back to English on your next visit; nothing else on this site depends on it.

If what this site stores in your browser changes, we'll update this page — the "last updated" date above always reflects the latest version.
